My goal as a teacher is to tailor lessons to each individual student so that their goals will be achieved.
Whether you are just beginning on the bass and looking to learn some easy and fun music or you are experienced and looking to expand your playing, I can help you get to where you want to be. From learning songs to play with your friends, to a large variety of styles and techniques, I can help you.
I have experience in playing and teaching electric and upright bass in many different styles and disciplines, including: rock, blues, pop, funk, orchestral, jazz, fusion, experimental, contemporary classical, country, folk, and more.
I am also an experienced tutor of general music, music theory, and aural skills/ear training. Having gone through the music curriculum and tutored others for years, I have the experience and knowledge to help you learn and understand, and can give you the tools to make your learning process quicker and more efficient.
Through my studies and experience, I have been dedicated to making the learning process as fun and as easy as possible. Music can be, should be, and really is fun! You can do it, and I can help you.
I teach out of my home in Portland, OR and over Skype or Facetime for those out of the area. For more details on my teaching and tutoring or if you have any questions, use the contact form. My studio policy can be found here: Milo Fultz - Studio Policy (Rev. 9/2015).
