May has blew by, most likely quickened by the sun coming out and a whirlwind of projects I've been a part of and working on. Super grateful I get to work with so many awesome people!
OPB and KMHD Radio recently premiered a track I played on Korgy and Bass/Cyrus Nabipoor's new record, "Remote". They did a really rad write-up, and I couldn't agree more that the vibe K&B and Cyrus were able to create is so fun and bizarre in such a cool way. Super proud to be on this:
Here's some of what I've been listening to and learning recently:
Judee Sill - (self-titled): Still diggin' on Judee, and her first record is equally as killer as her second. Great lyrics, such interesting music.
Sam Wilkes and Sam Gendel - Music for Saxofone and Bass Guitar: Ambient jams and fat beats. Both these guys are rad, and their duo record also slaps.
Squarepusher - Hello Everything: Just digging into this after hearing "The Modern Bass Guitar". It is so extra ALL THE TIME.
